The following is expected of all St. George’s students regarding use of generative AI:
For any assignment on which you would like to use AI tools, it is your responsibility to learn from your teacher how and whether their use is permitted. When teachers have not provided that information, it is your responsibility to ask. Keep in mind that different teachers may have different rules, and the same teacher may have different rules for different assignments. You are required to follow the rules specific to each teacher and each case.
If you use generative AI on any assignment, you must cite and explain how you used it. Use of generative AI without acknowledgement will be considered a breach of the honor code.
As is always the case in your work at St. George’s, you will be responsible for any inaccurate, offensive, or otherwise unethical content you submit even if it was generated by AI.
